Small Commercial PV System

The solar PV system on a metal roof (trapezoidal sheet) utilising the Renusol configurator for design of the system & providing load calculations along with additional warranty for the mounting system MS+ H, PV Ultra cable was selected to provide DC string connections to the solar panels.

15 solar panels make up the system in landscape configuration on a mono roof almost south facing 6.5kWp installed on the roof.

MTS selected the Enviroguard Solar Speed Clip which is an absolute pleasure to use helping the set the mesh nice & tight against the panels.

Grid Connection

for this particular solar PV system MTS installed a Solis inverter to make the grid connection, the Solis inverter App & screen interface makes this a very simple system for the end user to see what has been generated by the system.

Protection for the DC side was provided by Combiner boxes containing Both SPD (Surge Protection Devices) & overcurrent protection by string fuses all in the one box which makes for a nice connection point for the DC cabling (Strings).
